Type in your standard password when you log on to your Mac computer. Put a tick in the box next to Show Password. Search for the entry you are searching for. Be sure to select your card, click the Card menu and Make This My Card. Go under Category in the sidebar on your left hand left and press Passwords. Edit this information in the Contacts app.
Let Safari type your address & phone number in forms. Click AutoFill at the top for forms & credit cards. To have Safari forget passwords, select the sites and click Remove. Select a site or hold the Command key to select multiple items. Click Show passwords for selected websites, then type the login password you use to access your desktop. The cards are stored in an encrypted file on your computer, not on the store’s site. You still need to type the security code from the back of the card.
Safari can also remember credit card numbers and display a list of cards when you shop online. If you have more than one, pick it from a list. Next time you visit the site, Safari will automatically enter your user name and password. Although they may seem nosy, this is not a survey! Apple’s Safari web browser can safely store passwords and (optionally) credit cards in an encrypted file on your computer that no one can access them without your computer’s login password. It’s a bit more technical, but you can use a command line trick to retrieve any forgotten password from any Mac web browser, and it works in Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera too.Avoid writing down your passwords or typing them in a document on your computer. Of course, this particular method works only to find and reveal passwords that are stored within Safari, but that doesn’t mean you’re out of luck with other web browsers. You can also choose to remove passwords from the list if you no longer want them shown. When finished getting the password you want, you’ll probably want to uncheck the box for “Show passwords for selected websites” just to keep things extra secure. The password appears only when it’s selected and allowed, they are not all revealed at once. You can repeat this process for any other website login that has been stored within Safari with AutoFill to show the credentials. 
Choose the website from the list whose password you wish to reveal, then choose to “Allow” when permission is requested to reveal that logins password. Click the checkbox for “Show passwords for selected websites” – this requires the administrator password to be entered for the Mac.
